appear to become longer

as time passes and days ensue,

burdens and bullshit,

fatigue and frustrations,

trials and tribulations,

where just doing me becomes

one of the most difficult tasks to perform,

these nights,

appear to become shorter,

as the sun sets and the night alarms beckon,

heavy packages and light pay,

long pain and short shifts,

repetition in task and in general conversation,

when does it end?

when does it all pay off?

With you.

for you are,

a miraculous beauty

of encouraging radiance,

 

this love of ours

has amazed me countless times,

and my unfamiliarity with it

has scared me on numerous occasions,

creating insignificant problems,

questions of worth and purpose,

and uncertainties of the future,

yet it is her favorite quote,

that has guided me on the right path,

 

“… be the change

that you want to see in the world”

 

your name in itself,

is an acronym

on your attributes,

amazing,

miraculous,

beautiful,

encouraging,

radiant,

 

amazing,

seeing the smile on your face,

amazing,

feeling your touch upon my skin,

miraculous,

how weekends with you carry me through my days,

miraculous,

how you have brought dreams to a realist,

beautiful,

as flames dancing in the fireplace of a winter cabin,

beautiful,

as a melodic tune coupled with an angelic voice,

encouraging,

to follow my dreams to wherever they may take me,

encouraging,

to be for you, the man I always felt I could be,

as the sun rising on a warm, summer day,
